Special attention is given to chlorpropham (sprout inhibitor), restricted in the EU. Flakes must meet moisture standards (max 10%) and colour requirements. Main suppliers are Netherlands, Germany and Belgium in intra-EU trade, and Canada and USA for third-country imports.
